Thanks to everyone for your tremendous support during my 2012 campaign! And, a special thanks to all of my dedicated volunteers who put in so much time and effort. Sadly, things did not go our way on election day (54% to 46%).
However, considering the 8th District is 49% R, 29% U, and 22% D – we clearly built a coalition between Democrats, Moderate Republicans, and Unaffiliated voters.
We need to keep up to good fight to rise above partisanship in Kansas. Leadership should to be about the right people for the job not about a political affiliation. We must continue to work toward these ideals in order to improve the leadership of our state.
